A while back a friend I know found out she had ALS.  Of course pretty much known as Lou Gehrig's disease. I found out very much that its not very well known. Meaning they heard about Lou Gehrig's disease name but what it actually is. Well its Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, is a disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement. ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

I also found out that there is no cure for this at all. We must get a cure for this truly bad disease.

My friend at this time is fighting for her life and we as a country should be doing the same for all that have ALS. We owe it to them and we owe it for the ones that are no longer with us any longer.

We must speak out for this very bad disease and speak out. Today while I was out in the public the conversation came up about ALS. Shortly after about talking about it a person said, "lets not talk about it, its depressing. You know I got home after that and was hard on myself about not responding to this person. Should I have responded to him or did I handle it in the right way. Well if I did not handle it the right way so did many of the so called people in the world. We must get a cure after all this time. The must be cure so that many of the people who has this can  live there life how they deserve so. My heart goes out to all..Lets get a cure. Thank you.
